A Heartfelt Thank You to the Department of Oregon American Legion

We deeply thank the Department of Oregon American Legion for their generous 2024 donation to support the David's Chair Veterans program. The Oregon American Legions incredible contribution will go a long way in helping us provide mobility solutions and experiences for our veterans, honoring their service and sacrifice.
This donation strengthens our mission to ensure that every veteran has the opportunity to explore the great outdoors, regardless of mobility challenges. Thank you for standing with us and making a difference in the lives of those who have served our nation.

Together, we are tracking forward!

2024

Continuing our goal to Support veterans by serving over 60 veterans in David's Chairs

David’s Chair is built on a promise to serve all individuals with mobility challenges. We have a special place in our organization for the men and women who swore an oath to defend and protect the United States through military service. The David’s Chair Veterans program provides outdoor mobility assistance free of charge to our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and the Coast Guard. We are steadfast advocates of veterans with mobility challenges and endeavor to assist them overcome any obstacle, challenge or barrier in order to sustain and improve mental health and quality of life.

The David’s Chair Veterans program seeks out military veterans and their families with mobility challenges and introduces them to our robust operating locations, programs and all-terrain mobility chairs.  In addition to all terrain chairs, we also provide a VertaCat program (www.vertaCat.com) for mobility challenged veterans interested in Golf, Skeet and other stand-up activities. Please visit www.standupandplayfoundation.org for more information on the operating platforms and locations.
