The Big Weekend FUNdraiser remains our primary annual fundraising event. The proceeds help us to continue serving the mobility challenged community! The Big Weekend honors David’s most basic wish for the organization; to bring people together in a family-friendly environment with an opportunity to learn about David’s Chair and support people with mobility challenges in finding their freedom. DC (David’s Chair) provides track chairs and golf chairs for free, DC values the help of our supporters to keep tracking. DC has four sponsorship packages to choose from to help us carry out our mission, to “Enrich the lives of mobility impaired people with independence and freedom by empowering them to engage in outdoor activities they previously were unable to, FREE of charge.”

The support of the Big Weekend from the Southern Oregon community allows David’s Chair to continue to carry out our mission. Each year that support has grown and allowed us to continue to serve the mobility challenged community by providing our services for free. DC has blazed a trail that no other organization has done before and all for no charge to those that use DC services. DC continues to provide more locations and more opportunities for people to use our track chairs for hunting, fishing, hiking, strolling on the beach and more. DC’s Paragolfer program is growing as we have added our third golf chair the new Verta Kat. DC is the leader in providing these opportunities for the user and their family for free and needs your continued support.
